I am very excited to present to you my first blog ever ..I have been thinking bout blogging for years now. I  finally found my passion seven months ago. This blog is about what I love the most ( other than my husband) my hair! Believe it or not, I have only been in the natural hair community for seven months. 

My passion for hair has had everyone asking me to help them start their natural hair journeys. When I started my journey I didn't have much help, I had to learn for myself. I learned so much that it became a hobby of mine. 

Writing has always been a passion of mine and I am glad I get to combine two of my biggest passions. 

This blog will include everything natural. Regimes, secret growth aids, how to transition, the truth about natural hair, which products I use, how to know your own hair.. The list is endless. My followers are welcome to ask any questions and I will gladly answer them. If I don't know I'll do the  research. I'm also willing to take advice and try things that you suggest out. After all I am learning with you. 😊 I certainly don't know it all. 

I will post step by step Regimes including pictures so you see what I do and the results. I'm very excited to be doing this! I will appreciate your support.. So spread the love by sharing the post and ask away! 😉

    Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering. Girls I wish u shoul be natural

    Well written, I personally have low porosity hair. It takes days to dry if I tie it up immediately post wash..agh

      I have seen quite a number of people with that problem. Using the dryer on cold might speed up the process

It can only get better from here. Now lets turn to the topic on hand... Hair Porosity is the ability of your hair to absorb and retain moisture. It can easily be seen in how your  hair retains the water that is put in it during the washing  process. The hair either absorbs the water immediately or  the water sits on top of the hair for a while before penetrating through the hair strands towards the scalp.  A hair strand which is scientifically known as a  hair shaft has a protective layer known as a  cuticle. The gaps between the cuticle determines the hair  porosity. These gaps can either be shut or open, depending on how your hair retains moisture.
